Valley Renovators, Inc.

    Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Penn Laird, VA, Valley Renovators Inc. is a family-owned, licensed, and insured general contracting company. Since its inception, the company has concentrated on various construction projects including over 1000 attached and detached new homes, residential and commercial remodeling, light commercial construction, land development, and commercial consulting projects in the Shenandoah Valley and West Virginia.

Valley Renovators was incorporated in 2003, and in 2005, it became registered and licensed with the State of West Virginia. The company is led by President J.M. Snell II, with Rafe Snell as the Vice President of Operations and Zack Snell as the Vice President of Administration. Betty Snell, their mother, serves as Secretary/Treasurer.

VRI employs 22 hourly workers including an Estimator/Planner, Contract Administrator, Office Manager, several Project Managers, Carpenters, Carpenter Apprentices, and office staff. The team possesses a combined experience of over 100 years in various construction disciplines. Their expertise in both new construction and remodeling in residential and commercial environments ensures a versatile team capable of meeting customer objectives.

As a general contractor, VRI relies heavily on its extended team, including subcontractors, tradespeople, and preferred vendors. Effective communication is crucial for proper coordination and responsive scheduling.
