Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Penn Laird, VA., Valley Renovators Inc. is
a licensed and bonded general contracting company. Since its inception, we have
focused our efforts on a variety of construction projects including approximately
500 attached and detached new homes, residential and commercial remodeling,
light commercial construction, land development and commercial consulting
Projects in and around Rockingham County, Augusta County, Warren County,
and the City of Harrisonburg as well as Eastern West Virginia.
Valley Renovators was incorporated in 2003, and in 2005 Valley Renovators Inc.
also became registered and licensed with the State of West Virginia. The
company officers are J.M. Snell II Executive Vice President, Darrell Haslacker Vice
President of Operations and Betty Haslacker Secretary/Treasurer.
VRI employs 22 Hourly workers consisting of an Estimator/Planner, Contract
Administrator, Several Project Managers, carpenters, carpenter apprentices,
painters, laborers, and office staff. Total combined experience is in the excess of
100 Years in a variety of construction disciplines. Our exposure in both new
construction and remodeling in residential and commercial environments provide
for a versatile team to accomplish our customer's goals. We take great pride in
that we have also maintained a 100% "on schedule" delivery of all the projects
where we have been involved.

JM Snell -Executive Vice President
JM is one of the owners of Valley Renovators and is very
active in our community. JM currently helps with soccer
as the Director of Recreational League and VP of
Shenandoah Valley United which used to be
Harrisonburg Soccer Association. He is the
Past-President of the Shenandoah Valley Builders
Association. JM also works with Boy Scouts of America
having served as District Chairman for 3 years and
currently as Finance Chair for Massanutten District. He is
a member of the Harrisonburg Lions Club and the Elks
and is in his second term on the Harrisonburg Planning
Commission. JM has also been a Vice-Chair for the MS
Society Dinner of Champions for the past 3 years.

C. Darrell Haslacker - Vice President of
Operations
Darrell brings over thirty years of experience in home
building and project supervision. He oversees all of the
everyday operations of the different projects that our
company is involved in and makes sure that each project
comes in within budget and on time with a minimum
delays.

Betty I Haslacker - Secretary / Treasurer
Betty I Snell, moved from Grant County, WV to the
Shenandoah Valley in 1995. In 1996 she married C.
Darrell Haslacker and along with her son, J.M. Snell, they
started Valley Renovators. Betty brings to the business
her skills in office management and bookkeeping, while
living in West Virginia she was a Deputy Assessor for 7
1/2 years, bookkeeper at the local farm service for 2 1/2
years and worked part time at the local hotel as a
receptionist. She is currently Secretary/Treasurer and a
partner in Valley Renovators, Inc.
